Supported Independent Living in Beveridge can help participants build a more confident daily routine while staying connected to the Mitchell Shire community and Melbourne’s northern growth corridor. Our SIL support is shaped around individual goals, preferences and NDIS needs, with assistance for personal care, household tasks, life skills, community participation and overnight support.
Supported Independent Living (SIL) is an NDIS funded support for participants who need regular assistance with daily tasks in their home. It may be provided in a shared living arrangement or an individual home.
Support may be delivered during the day, evening, overnight or across 24 hours where assessed and approved. SIL covers support services rather than rent or ordinary household costs.
Participants remain involved in decisions about their routine, home and daily activities, with support designed to strengthen independence.
SIL may suit participants who:
Beveridge offers a quieter local setting with access to nearby Wallan, Donnybrook and Craigieburn for shopping, appointments and community services. Our SIL support helps participants manage these local routines while maintaining dependable assistance at home.
We assist with showering, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, transfers, morning and evening routines and medication reminders.
We support grocery shopping, meal planning, cooking, cleaning, laundry and home organisation. Participants are encouraged to take part where this supports their goals.
We can assist with budgeting, meal preparation, appointment planning, communication, decision making and travel planning. This can be especially useful when participants regularly access services in nearby towns and suburbs.
We support appointments, shopping, recreation, social activities, hobbies and visits with family or friends in Beveridge and surrounding areas.
Where approved, support may include evening assistance, sleepovers, active overnight care, monitoring and 24 hour support.
We follow a clear and collaborative process.
